It is a stunning article in that it points out the illusory nature of how emptiness is explained in the spiritual marketplace as opposed to its presence with us in each moment in "this world". The closing sentence sums it up perfectly. It is that "Emptiness is a mirror in which man and the world is reflected." Thank you.
Barbara, Munich, Germany Dear Dr. Shankar, How are you? Think of you each day, every moment! I live with you and your words in my mind, in books, on CDs and on DVDs. Life is very good to me. I'm happy, no matter what happens. On the contrary I can see with some of my friends in my age, in other words: quite old. They are very, very unhappy because their work broke down, their health isn't the best and the joyful happenings are going towards zero. They are depressed and are looking for a new task, want to "do" something new, something "meaningful". - For me just the every day life is so joyful, so exciting and at the same time so simple and without any great extras. My mind is empty of "problems" and I don't have to look after the "meaning of life" in "my life"! For all this I am sooooo grateful to you, who was sharing his wisdom of life over all these years with such a patience to us over and over again with different context. At that time I couldn't hear it. Then my mind couldn't understand all these single facts. Now they come together more and more, the puzzle becomes more and more a whole picture, although it will never be complete. I enjoy very much that it never ends but goes deeper and deeper. There is always a calm joy inside and a clarity in the mind. My gratefulness towards life and towards you is endless!

Comment: CD ‘Life is thoughtless’ Elisabeth, Netherlands Life is thoughtless because time does not exist in life. Life flows in a timeless zone. Man is unaware of life. Man is unaware of himself. He knows in his mind, but he is not aware. Where did the belief system start in the mind for man? The state of life which is going to be future will be highly intelligent, not governed by the beliefs in the mind. The entire range of belief system in the man's mind will change. If we have realized the glory of life, the brilliance of life, the magical manifestation of life, we are enjoying the illusoriness, we are admiring the brilliance, the precision of life. It takes quite a lot of beating to understand the mind to be illusory. It is such a revelation that because of time man is lost in his thoughts, he is never alive in life. Such beautiful words in the satsang to listen to over and over again to understand and enjoy the illusoriness, the precision of life.

Life is a sophistication process, and sophistication is the only characteristic of life, a continuous sophistication. Wherever there is sophistication there has to be destruction. Without that sophistication is not possible. How to define mind? It is the mind which troubles you, the mind troubles you about your children, it says they need to be corrected. That is the hallmark for every parent. Where could there be any mistake in life if it is precise? When you can define life and mind, you can go into childhood, what is childhood. Dr. Shankar shares what the scientists in Cern found in an experiment wherein they extracted electrons, trying to determine what could be this Higss particle.
