Preface
Life, in the manifestation of Dr Shankar, speaks to you, not from

the outside, but from the inside. Dr. Shankar reveals life to you

from your own inside. The author`s understanding of mind and

life is pure gold. Never has the place of mind in this creation

been so perceptively and convincingly illuminated.

The chapter ´Ego and Love` explores the changing conditions

that man meets in the process of living and aging. Love is life

and life is a mystery which the ego can never know since the

mystery is the moment ´now`. Man has not understood his own

mind and thus does not love himself. Accordingly, the love in

accepting the other for who he or she is, without any conditions

or judgements, is absent.

The concept of enlightenment opens the door to an imaginary

world that lies beyond the seen and the known: to fantasy. As

man grows into adulthood, mind becomes his guide in provi-

ding answers to his increasing number of questions until desire

for understanding is awakened by inquiry. Find out how every-

thing happens, but there is no absolute answer. It happens and

man just moves on, like it or not. He is a wanderer in the relative

journey from birth to death.
