Aliveness

“In the moment”

Modern man knows quite a lot. Life has gifted man knowledge since primitive times. Primitive man had no knowledge to begin with. Primitive man did not know the precise moment with certainty when anything that he did know would happen.

Primitive man did not know the precise moment with certainty how exactly knowledge would happen. Primitive man did come to know what anyone he knew said about a particular matter.

Primitive man did not know the exact moment when the known would happen to him or to others. Primitive man and woman came to know only after knowledge happened to him or her by life.

Primitive man did come to know that he was alive after knowledge evolved in him. Similarly, modern man comes to know with certainty only after knowledge happens to him or her.

Neither primitive man nor modern man makes any moment in life. The moment was in life much before vegetation, animals and primitive man were within the moment. The moment in life was the aliveness in life.

The moment in life was manifested by the intelligence in life. As vegetation evolved in the moment in life, the vegetation was the aliveness in the moment. As animals evolved in the moment in life along with vegetation, vegetation and animals were the aliveness in the moment.

Later, man and woman were manifested by the intelligence in life as a process in evolution in the moment. The moment in life accommodated man along with vegetation and animals in the moment.

Wisdom accepts man, vegetation and animals as they are in any moment, because they understand that as man, vegetation and animals are in any moment in life, it is the aliveness of the moment.

Knowledge has many differences in the moment and wishes to change them. Wisdom accepts the differences as they are because they understand that the differences are the aliveness of the moment, which cannot be changed.

Wisdom reveals that a thought in the moment is the aliveness in the moment, which cannot contain another thought beside the thought that has evolved in the moment by the intelligence in life.

Wisdom reveals that a word in the moment is the aliveness in the moment, which cannot contain another word beside the word that has evolved in the moment by the intelligence in life.

Wisdom reveals that an action in the moment is the aliveness in the moment, which cannot contain another action beside the action that has evolved in the moment by the intelligence in life.

Man and woman with wisdom accept the aliveness in life as it is and are patient with the intelligence in life. They trust life as it is.

The enlightened lives life every moment with patience and trust because the aliveness of life is in every moment.

Editor’s Note:
Man experiences changes in his life and has come to accept that change is inevitable, whether he likes it or not. His awareness of change has evolved into a hope, a belief and finally a conviction that he can – as they say – ‘make a difference’. Seduced by this conviction, neither man nor woman spares any effort, be it honourable or dishonourable, in targeting change ‘for the better’. Man even resorts to force to materialise change. Wise indeed is the man or woman who comes to understand and to delight in the discovery of the aliveness in life, in every moment of life, as revealed in this article by Dr Shankar. This understanding is a gift beyond measure.
