Alphabet
“Letters”
Alphabet is defined as a set of letters or symbols in a fixed order used to represent the basic set of speech sounds of a language, especially the set of letters from A to Z in the English language.
The definition as per knowledge implies that each letter in the alphabet is a sound. Wisdom reveals that the sound of a particular letter occupies the space within the moment.
Wisdom reveals that different sounds of each letter in a particular set form a particular word. Wisdom reveals that a different set of sounds of letters forms different words in knowledge.
Wisdom reveals that every sound of every letter in the alphabet occupies a particular space within a moment. This particular space of the moment is not occupied by any other letter in the alphabet.
Wisdom reveals that the moment in life is eternal and that the eternal moment in life has the sound of every letter in the alphabet having its own space.
Wisdom reveals that sound is primary in the moment with its space. The letter in the alphabet is an illusion of this primary sound of the alphabet.
A modern- day child utters only sound and, as the child grows and evolves, the sound in each moment is uttered as a letter in the alphabet. The child soon comes to know all the sounds as letters in thealphabet and words having the sound of letters in the alphabet.
This is evidence that proves the primitive child too uttered only sounds at birth and the sounds evolved eventually as letters and words in the primitive adult, male or female.
Wisdom reveals that primitive parents did not teach their children to speak letters in the alphabet or words having letters in the alphabet. Wisdom reveals that primitive people came to know what they were meant to know.

The drama of schooling, teaching and learning happened in primitive moments and still continues to happen in modern times. In primitive times every moment had its own sound as illusory letters and words, albeit illusory, and so does the modern moment as well.
The enlightened realise that life with knowledge and wisdom is a play of light and sound.

Man has long since adopted the title of this article from the Greek ALPHA-BETA to represent the set order of letters present in all human communication, spoken, written or otherwise articulated. The wise reveal here that the sound of each letter and word is present in each moment and that the sound of each letter and word appears, though illusory, in man’s knowledge, if it is meant to. What a wonder is the gift of hearing, listening and understanding.

How precisely the illusion of learning sounds and words proceeds in the infant, the human does not realize until he or she has learned to understand, if it is meant to be, that words are but a succession of sounds in the moment, spontaneously forming letters. Actually, this wisdom that Dr. Shankar details here is not difficult to know, but to be truly aware of this natural fact in each moment is the gift of life to the de-conditioned, enlightened mind. Such a human observes words manifesting from letter-sounds in illusory time, and does not believe one bit that he or she is speaking or thinking for themselves.
