Awakening (10)

“Process”

Understand that your past is right because when you are listening, gathering words through knowledge, your mind is in the past. Understand that knowledge is happening in the past moment.

Understand that the past moment is an illusion of time. Understand that the moment ‘here and now’ is time. Understand that time is always here and now.

Understand that in the moment, which is always ‘here and now’, only light and sound is present. Understand that the knowledge in the past moment is an illusion of light and sound.

Understand that knowledge appears as an illusion of light and sound in the waking state and in the dream state as well. Understand that a dream is not real, which implies that knowledge in the waking state is not real either.

Understand that knowledge is supported by numerical duration of time, otherwise it cannot stand by itself. For example, when somebody says ‘guess what happened’, the other will question ‘when?’ meaning time.

Understand that the moment in time does not have numerical duration of time because humans have no knowledge of the duration of time present in any moment of daily life.

Understand that knowledge in any moment is an illusion of time as well.

The answer to the question when it happened, it may be last week, yesterday or two hours back. Any knowledge of time, nevertheless, requires time. But time in life does not have last or previous.

Understand that time in life is every moment that is here and now always and never a last or previous moment. Understand that last and previous moment is the same moment in life.

Wisdom reveals that the knowledge of yesterday, last week, two hours or any other variation of time is illusory and not real.

When this wisdom of knowledge cements in you, understand that you are in the awakening process of life.

The enlightened admire every moment of life as it is.

Editor’s Note:
The illusion becomes more and more evident as the understanding of the wise continues to reveal what is not. What is not is in the past, notwithstanding its illusory presence. The here and now is never absent. The moment ‘now’ is the reality, what it contains is not, never has been and never will be - save as illusion.
Man’s story of life, past or present, is an illusion that can never be an actuality.
In knowledge, his story – history - is taught to and learned by students of all generations for the lessons it offers and for its stirring adventures.
In wisdom, man’s story is his or her awakening to life that cannot be told or known, for there is no teller or knower. The story is life that is.

German Translator‘s Note:
Life takes its course and in the process there is talk, speculation, challenge and hope, mostly in an inner monologue and often in spoken dialogue with others. Your knowledge about past, present and future is, however, always in the past, because the mind is always in the past, which appears to you as past, present and future. Therefore your past, your knowledge, is always right, exactly as it is, as far as being illusory is concerned. And even with worst fears of what might happen, only exactly what is meant to happen happens. However, completely illusory, because the "Now" does not contain any thought, but only light and sound. One can trust in this when understanding happens.
