“Process”
Numerical duration of time is non-existent. Then when do you get knowledge? That is advaita, meaning not two. Knowledge is not got by simply reading books.
How does knowledge happen?
Knowledge happens this way. A child is taught to repeat alphabets. Once the child repeats, the sound of an alphabet as a thought goes and resides in memory. Similarly, to an adult, words reside in memory.
Understand that, when you are awakened, everything that you have learned by repetition is in memory. You recall words from memory, which is not here and now in the mind in life.
Understand that what is here and now in every moment in life is only light and sound.
Understand that you are not conscious of memory in the moment here and now in life. You are not awakened as yet to this point in your existence, which is just light and sound.
You are aware of memory in your mind as thoughts after light flows through your eye. That is all. Knowledge happens when you are not aware of the moment in the mind in life. Knowledge does not happen when you are aware of the moment in life. It has only one alphabet or one word.
Understand that when you are conscious of light flowing through your eye every moment and you also understand that this light recalls words from the memory to identify daily life, You will then understand that every moment in life and in the mind contains only light and sound. You will also understand that you are in the awakening process of the intelligence in life.
The wise understand that knowledge is an illusion of light and sound. The wise understand that the intelligence in life demonstrates this by the presence of smart phone and computer.
The enlightened realise their true self is light.

It is remarkable that modern appliances, such as smart phones and computers, reveal what only the understanding of the wise is able to reveal. Man is shown in this article to be in tune with the natural order of things so subtle that he cannot ever be aware of that harmony. In knowledge, he can have no awareness of that, yet such are the actions in science and in engineering, apparently but not actually manufactured by man, that this harmony is being revealed. This is a beautiful circle by the intelligence of life, so too is the gift of understanding by the enlightened who have realised their own true light.

Today's children and teenagers are the first generation to grow up with smartphones and the Internet. The obvious illusion of these media is often viewed sceptically by the older generation, who themselves did not grow up with them. Soon the children of today will be parents and will live in a world where these devices are taken for granted and have always been there all their lives. Life will thereby further reveal the insight into the everyday illusion of life, which appears to the mind as real reality. The intelligence of life is at work.
