Before

“Knowledge and Memory”

Knowledge informs every man and woman what to do before they do something in particular. Knowledge informs man and woman that they have failed because they did not do something before they did what they had to do.

Knowledge reveals this because knowledge convinces man and woman that they can do. The knowledge that man and woman are the doers convinces man and woman that they can definitely do something before doing anything in particular.

The conviction that knowledge imparts, through the belief that man and woman are the doers, is not free from the shadows of unwanted emotions of failure. The conviction that wisdom imparts, through the belief that man and woman are not the doers, is free of unwanted shadows of emotions of failure.

The question is: what is this wisdom?

Wisdom in modern man and woman reveals that their minds through knowledge and memory come to know what has happened in daily life only after it happens, and what they did only after it happens to them.

Wisdom reveals that knowledge in memory deceives man and woman that he or she is a doer. Wisdom reveals that neither man nor woman is a doer because wisdom reveals that man and woman come to know only after anything happens in daily life or only after anything happens to them.

Therefore, wisdom reveals that to do something before doing anything in particular is impossible for man and woman. Wisdom reveals that neither primitive man nor primitive woman did something before to get knowledge.

Wisdom reveals that knowledge evolved in primitive man and woman at a precise moment and they did not have to do anything before they got knowledge. Wisdom reveals that knowledge in memory deceives man and woman that he or she can do something before doing something.

Wisdom that neither man nor woman can do before doing something keeps man and woman steady and patient in life. Wisdom that neither man nor woman can do before doing something reveals to man and woman that what is meant to happen in life will happen and no force on earth can stop or start it.

This wisdom reveals that whatever man or woman is meant to do, albeit illusory, they will do and no force on earth can stop them. This wisdom keeps man and woman free from unwanted emotions of failure, because they did not do something before in whatever they were doing.

The enlightened do not expect man and woman to do anything in any moment in life.

Editor’s Note:
This ‘before’ has huge significance. Every man and woman is taught, even from an early age, to believe that he or she is a doer - and a proud or disappointed one at that. Thus, in knowledge, the line between success and failure is a common experience in our daily activity and is often accompanied by strong, emotional colouring. The revelation of wisdom, gifted in this article, is that man cannot do, nor indeed does he need to believe that he can do anything in his life – not even think – before doing or thinking happens. Gradually, deep understanding of this may mature, if it is meant to, with undoubting trust in the moment that is.
Julian Capper, UK.

German translator's Note:
It is the words "do not expect" in the last paragraph of this article that have the amazing potential to relieve man's entire everyday life of the burden of doing this or that now or soon or at some point in time or expecting it from others. From this expectation of a certain action at a certain point in time arises the inner and outer conflict, which we can observe in all families, at all workplaces and also during sporting activities, whether alone, in pairs or in groups. No one escapes the shadows of unwanted emotions until the wisdom of this article is crystal clear: Everything happens precisely when it happens, and never before.
Marcus Stegmaier, Germany.
