Believe (2)

“I speak”

Every man and woman believes “I speak in the moment’. Similarly, every man and woman believes “I spoke in the moment’. Also, every man and woman believes “I must speak in the moment’.

Daily life has evidence that proves what every man and woman believes. Every aspect of daily life would not be possible if man and woman did not speak in the moment in daily life.

Diverse situations are evident in every moment of daily life. Diverse situations in every moment of daily life would not be possible if man and woman did not speak in the moment in daily life.

Now, what is the understanding that every man and woman needs, which will confirm that he or she does not speak in the moment, but only believes that he or she speaks in the moment?

The understanding that man and woman need is the understanding of the moment in which they are, when life began for them as them. When life began as them, he or she was a single cell in the moment.

The single cell grew and multiplied as multiple cells. This signifies that initially only a single cell is in a moment and later multiple cells are in every moment. This further signifies that single cell and multiple cells made sound during growth.

The single cell and multiple cells that moved and made sounds in the moment is manifested by the intelligence in the moment, which is consciousness. That the intelligence in consciousness moves the single cell and the multiple cells, which made sounds, is not believed by man and woman.

The intelligence in consciousness moves every single cell that makes sound. What needs to be understood is that every single cell is diverse and sound is diverse as well. What needs to be understood is that the movement of every diverse cell is diverse and sound is diverse as well.

What needs to be understood is that diverse movements of multiple cells and sounds are made by consciousness and not by man and woman. Man and woman merely believe ‘I speak’ in the moment.

What needs to be understood is that the diverse movements and sounds in every moment are so precise that the diverse movements and sounds of multiple cells manifest as diverse words in the moment.

What needs to be understood is that man and woman believe ‘I speak’, whilst consciousness is only moving initially as a single cell and making sound in the moment and eventually as multiple cells in the moment and multiple sounds in life.

The wise understand that he or she does not speak in the moment. The wise understand that speaking is maya/illusion, meaning that actual speaking is absent in the moment. The wise understand that a singular movement of sound is present in every moment.

The enlightened realise life is a singular, diverse movement and diverse sounds.

Editor’s Note:
Man’s beliefs run counter to actuality. There can be no other play whilst men and women live their daily lives in ignorance of what is. Until, that is, until both beliefs and actuality are revealed by the wise for what they really are. The former – beliefs - embraces the conviction that man is not only the speaker, but also the claimant of his speaking, has been speaking and will be speaking. The latter – actuality - has no voice, being actuality itself. Whilst men and women are defined by beliefs and ideas in their daily life, thus conditioned by maya/illusion, their life is not. Should they happen to meet a wise man or woman on their path of life, they may come to realise that both maya and actuality are by the intelligence of life, which is consciousness. Thus, they may gradually come to realise who they really are.

German Translator‘s Note:
Everyone learns at school that man is made up of multiple cells. And it is explained to us that these cells work together to bring about the functions of the human body and all possible movements of the body and mind as well as the act of speech. Nevertheless, one hardly even asks oneself the question where the point could be in this complex interaction of the cells where the human being could be a speaker. Dr. Shankar's article reveals how the human being as the illusion of a sum of individual cells moves spontaneously while sounds happen. One might wonder what the point of this understanding is, since one can also manage one's life in the belief that man is the speaker. Yes, one can, but unconditional trust in life can never arise. Inner and outer conflicts are the shadow of the ego, which believes that one's self and others are real speakers. Inner freedom, unconditional patience and love come from the understanding of the wise that "life is a singular, diverse movement and diverse sounds".
