Cause (2)

“Exists”

A man and woman with knowledge believe and are convinced that a cause is present for whatever exists in life. A man and woman are also convinced that whatever exists due to a cause does exist in the moment in life.

That which exists in the moment due to a cause may be either an action or a situation. Both the action and the situation due to a cause in the moment are not free from emotion.

This implies that the cause of emotion is either action or situation in the moment.
The emotion in turn is caused by either rejection or acceptance of the action or the situation.

This cycle of rejection and acceptance, including the accompanied emotions, is repetitive in daily life. Every man and woman nevertheless wish, want and desire to be free of the repetitive cycle, which is supported by knowledge.

A man and woman with wisdom, however, are free from the emotions of the repetitive cycle of cause. What is this wisdom of a wise man and woman of cause is the question?

Wisdom reveals that a moment in life is followed by the next and in between each moment is moment as well. This implies that the moment in life is eternal, spontaneous, uncontrollable and unpredictable.

Wisdom reveals that man does not make any moment in life, because the moment in life was much before man was in the moment in life. Wisdom reveals that the intelligence in life manifested the moment with vegetation and animals initially and later manifested man in the moment, along with vegetation and animals.

Wisdom reveals that every moment in life is precise, because moment in life is neither late nor early. Wisdom signifies that what is within the moment is precise and cannot be other than what is within the moment.

Wisdom reveals that there is no cause for precision in the moment. Wisdom reveals that the precision for the moment and for what is within the moment is manifested by the intelligence in life. Furthermore, there is no cause for the intelligence in life, because the intelligence in life is light and there is no cause for light.

Wisdom reveals that moment is always present in life without a cause. Therefore, whatever is present in the moment has no cause. The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that life is without any cause.

Editor’s Note:
Mankind has been seeking the cause of life for generations. In this process remarkable observations, albeit illusory, have been made that have encouraged seekers. Man’s efforts in this regard have also been remarkable and will continue to be so long as mind is conditioned by the belief that man is the doer and that cause and effect are realities and so too their consequent emotions. When man comes to understand that existence itself, in whatever form it may appear to human awareness, has no cause, he will find an inner peace free of emotions that passes all understanding. The existence of cause is understood as illusory and he is himself.
Julian Capper, UK.

German Translator‘s Note:
In all areas of life, the mind relies on its respective conception of cause and effect. This connection gives the mind security to accept or look forward to the events of everyday life with some reassurance. But even if the expected effect occurs, it is completely unpredictable, as Dr. Shankar shows in this article "Cause". To live with the causelessness of life is not an easy task for the mind at first, but the one who has had this irrefutable insight will no longer be disturbed by the conditioning of the mind.
