A dance is a series of steps and movements that match the speed and rhythm of a piece of music. There are many types of dance such as: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Highland, Social and Ballroom dance.
Music is sound. There are various sounds and various movements in every moment in nature, such as growth, flowering, blossoming and movements of various species in the animal kingdom.
The various sounds in nature and sounds uttered by the animal kingdom are natural music. Therefore, the various movements and sounds in nature signify that nature is in a dance which is natural.
Man is not separate from nature, but is a part of nature. Nature makes sound and movement in man as well and certain specific sounds appear as words in the human mind, but it is music in nature, because music is sound.
In every moment of human life there is movement and sound. Certain specific sounds intermittently appear as words to a human, but to nature the sounds are music. This signifies that man is in a natural dance in his entire life on a rotating stage, earth.
The earth, sun, moon, stars, planets are in constant movement in every moment as well. This signifies that the solar system is in a natural dance as well. This natural solar dance is constant.
The seasons on earth such as summer, autumn, winter, spring are in constant movement in a cyclic manner. The seasons on earth such as summer, autumn, winter, spring have different sounds in them.
The intensity of a particular season is the movement and the intensity of sound in a particular season, however, varies and is not constant. This implies that earth is in a natural dance as well.
The enlightened have proclaimed that there is only movement and sound in every moment of daily life. They have proclaimed this by the statement: life is a play of light and sound.
The enlightened also realise that the universe is in a cosmic dance in every moment.

Understanding the cosmic nature and harmony of the universe in which mankind is destined to make his or her journey in life is the supreme gift of the wise. That it is so is for each one of us to realise, if we are meant to. No part of this universe is out of place or in need of correction or alteration, hard though this may be to acknowledge in the human mind. The human mind experiences diversity and conflict on a daily basis, as it is meant to. Let us welcome the life that is – a play of light and sound, albeit illusory.
