“Expect”
Life has no beginning and no end in it. That is why life is beginningless and endless. Understand that in a life which does not end, in a life where nothing begins, what can you hope for in life? What?
Every possession which man and woman has got is nothing but an illusion of energy. Every possession which you have got in your life is not in life. It is a possession in your mind as labels. So, it is a possession of labels in the mind which you have.
What an optical illusion life creates for you. You believe you possess. What can you possess in life, when there is no numerical duration of time in any moment in life, which is needed to accommodate anything physical?
Such is the optical illusion that life projects in the human mind. Life will gift you energy that appears physical. Understand that you cannot gift yourself energy that appears physical to your mind.
Understand that when nothing can begin in life, your better life which you hope for can never begin in life. That which you want in life, a better life, a better wife, a better husband, whatever, it does not begin in life.
The better is merely thoughts in your mind. Understand that what is in life is the better as it is. Understand that the better is always gifted to you and you cannot have better than you have in any moment.
It is better to come to terms with your mind. Neither have you come to terms with your life, nor have you come to terms with your mind with thoughts and without thoughts.
Understand that there is no duration of time in life. Understand that there is only time in life. Understand that there is only time in mind. Understand that there is only mind without thoughts in life.
Understand that there is only energy in life. Understand that there is only energy in mind. Understand that you cannot hope for energy in life or in mind, because energy is always present in life and in mind.
Understand that energy is as what you have in any moment in life. Understand that energy which is cannot be any other energy than the energy which is in any moment in life.
Understand that what you have in any moment in the mind is energy as labels. Understand that the label, which is, cannot be any other label than the label which is in any moment in the mind.
The enlightened live every moment in life with whatever is in it and with whatever the mind informs there is.

There is no hope without numerical time. Only through numerical time can the mind compare. This article leads out of the labyrinth of hope into life, the timeless Here and thoughtless Now. Here there is time, but no duration. Here there is mind but no thoughts. Hope based on comparative thoughts has no room to exist in life as it is. Each article in this series examines the phenomenon of hope from a different angle until, if it is meant to be, the pieces of the puzzle come together to form a whole and man realizes that life is always whole and never divided. In life you always have the whole, in your mind you always have only a part which creates hope through comparison, albeit completely illusory.
