Intelligence 25

“Separated”

The intelligence in life is light. This is evident because science informs that an atom is light. This signifies that everything that exists on earth is an illusion of light, because everything and every living entity is made up of atoms.

The intelligence in life is light and this is obvious because electricity is present in every atom and in every cell and the mind knows electricity is light. This signifies that the human eye is electricity or light.

The intelligence in life has evolved knowledge and conditioned it. This makes man or woman believe that he or she is separate from what they see by their eyes and which is not owned or possessed by them. They may nevertheless wish to own or possess it if they like it.

The conditioned knowledge, however, makes a man or woman believe that what their eyes see and is owned by them is not separate from them emotionally. They nevertheless believe that he or she is physically separate from them.

Wisdom that is evolved by the intelligence in life gifts man or woman a deep understanding of what their eyes see and the function of seeing. Wisdom deconditions the conditioned knowledge.

Wisdom reveals that whatever the human eyes see, the seeing cannot be separated from whatever that is seen by the eyes. This is impossible for man or woman to do, because evolution has not made it possible.

If man or woman were the doers, which they believe they are, it would be possible for them to separate the seeing from the seen. This is impossible for man or woman because evolution has made them only appear as doers, though they are not.

The intelligence in life has manifested many colours in life which the eyes see. The many colours in life are an illusion of light. This is evident because a beam of light, when it passes through a glass prism, appears as seven colours of a rainbow.

Wisdom reveals that every colour in life cannot be separated from another colour. Colours only appear to be separate from each other, while they cannot be actually separated from each other.

The enlightened have pointed that the seer, seeing and the seen are one. This signifies that the seeing cannot be separated from the seen. When this understanding happens to anyone he or she will be contented and grateful for anything seen.

Editor’s Note.
Man is truly grateful for the sense of sight. It is his guide throughout his waking life. Yet he takes it for granted for it was there from birth. The exception to this may be when there is some impediment to his vision or when he meets a blind person. Taken for granted also is the knowledge, evolved by the intelligence in life, that he or she is separate from what is seen. This article reveals, however, that the mind of man is conditioned in this very knowledge. There is no fault in this – it is as it is. Until, by and by, man happens to meet a wise man who declares that no such separation is possible, has been possible nor ever will be possible. Understanding this is the beginning of freedom.

German Translator‘s Note:
Oneness means that in life there is no separation as real. As Dr. Shankar wisely states the conditioned mind believes in separation of the seer from the seen. Nevertheless the ego is emotionally attached to the seen, because the ego want to possess the seen if it fits the ego preferences. The wise reveal the non-separation of all which is seen and not seen. Clarity of this fact leads to admiration and gratitude towards the seen instead of the need to possess.
