Intelligence 4

“Cycle of Food”

The intelligence in life manifests seasons every year in a cycle. For example, the cycle of seasons in a year are four and they are winter, spring, summer, autumn. The weather in each season is characteristic of the season.

The intelligence in life manifests food that man eats in a cycle, morning, afternoon and at night. The state of the body of man or woman is characteristic of the food he or she eats in a cycle. The cycle of food and the state of the body need to be understood deeply by a man or a woman.

Every form of food eaten by humans is either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Both vegetarian food and processed, non-vegetarian foods have proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

The intelligence in life transforms both the vegetarian food and the processed, non-vegetarian food eventually as glucose in the body. The glucose circulates in the blood and is used inside every cell of the body to produce energy needed by the body.

The intelligence in life produces energy needed by the body for the day. Some of the glucose is transformed as proteins, carbohydrates and fat, while some is stored as glycogen for future use.  The excess of glucose is deposited upon the body that is seen as obesity.

The intelligence in life maintains good health despite the excess of glucose transformed as obesity. This happens until onset of middle-age. After middle age signs and symptoms of ill-health begin to set in.

The excess of glucose in the blood thickens the blood. This is evident because glucose in water thickens water. The thickening of the blood raises the blood pressure and ill-effects of raised blood pressure are seen beyond middle age.

The cycle of processed foods, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, does not regulate the utilisation of glucose in the body properly and eventually leads to ill-health. Ill-health has unwanted economic, family and social consequences.

The cycle of food as millets not only regulates the utilisation of glucose properly, but also maintains good health. Millets also cleanse the body of ill-health due to improper regulation of glucose by processed foods, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Millets also preserve the much wanted and desired good economic, family and social expectations.

Editor’s Note:
Human beings across the world are concerned with their physical and mental health. Every day they manage a diet of food that may maintain or restore good health to the body and equanimity to the mind. On the other hand, this may not be the case and ill health with its consequences may ensue. This series of articles gifted by the intelligence of life is responding to the evolving and increasingly pressing needs of every human being, both child and adult. Both the nature of food and its consumption is every living being’s concern. It is the concern of the wise.
Julian Capper, UK.

German Translator’s Note:
Everything in life is in a cycle, from birth to death. Food also is part of this cycle of individual life. It plays its unique role for every individual. The intelligence in life manifests the cycle of food for all of us. If millets are part of the cycle, life gifts health to humans. The wise understand this, as presented here by Dr. Shankar.
