Interest (2)

“To Speak”

Primitive man and woman lived instinctively until knowledge and memory of knowledge evolved in ancient humans. Similarly, knowledge of past and future evolved in ancient humans.

Primitive human instinctively uttered sounds every day even though neither knowledge nor memory of spoken words had evolved. As knowledge and memory evolved, humans had interest to speak what they spoke every day because of memory.

The memory and knowledge of the past and future initially was of the day that passed and the day yet to come. Primitive man, therefore, had interest in what to speak in the day and for the next moment yet to come.

As evolution progressed, the memory and knowledge of past and future evolved and modern man had interest in what to speak in a particular hour yet to come and in a particular hour yet to come in a week or month yet to come.

This phenomenon of memory, knowledge, past and future is evident when the modern-day child is observed. The modern-day child initially speaks a word and eventually knows many words to speak.

Later, the modern-day child has interest to speak every moment of the day and, as evolution progresses, the child has interest in what to speak in the next day and for the days yet to come.

Therefore, the modern-day man and woman are interested to speak every day. If nothing is spoken by them in many moments of the day, modern-day man and woman with knowledge are unsteady, impatient and overcome by unwanted shadows of emotions with a wide range of diversity and intensity.

But the wise man and woman of ancient times and of modern day are calm, composed, steady, patient with trust in every moment of life and are devoid of unwanted emotions.

The wise man and woman are devoid of unwanted emotions because they understand that the moment in any day happens and that they do not make any moment in life.

The wise man and woman are devoid of unwanted emotions because they understand that what is spoken in the moment in any day happens and that they do not speak what is in any moment in life.

The wise man and woman are devoid of unwanted emotions because they understand that what is spoken in the moment in any day cannot be other than what is spoken in the moment.

The wise man and woman are devoid of unwanted emotions because they understand that they cannot speak anything in the moment. This is because the moment happens much before they could speak anything in the moment.

The wise man and woman are interested in the intelligence that makes the moment happen. The enlightened admire the moment that happens and accept whatever is spoken in the moment by others.

Editor’s Note:
The faculty of speech may be regarded as man’s greatest asset as he or she travels through life. How speech has evolved whereby human beings are able to speak with each other with intelligence and comprehension, albeit with positive or negative colouring, has generally been taken for granted. The inability to do so, as in the primitive era, is, in knowledge, an abnormality in need of repair. In wisdom, however, the enlightened take nothing for granted, thereby accessing the secrets of life. Such is the priceless gift that is offered in these articles and elsewhere for those who are meant to understand.
