It is
“What it is”
What it is in any moment in daily life is either accepted or not accepted. It is accepted if what it is in the moment is wanted, desired, liked or loved by man or woman.
It is not accepted if what it is in the moment is not wanted, not desired, not liked or not loved by man or woman. It is not accepted if what it is in the moment is not what it is expected to be or should be.
This is the scenario in daily life with regards to any issue, especially with issues concerning health, emotions and behaviour. Knowledge regarding life convinces man and woman that the daily scenario is valid, reasonable and logical.
Wisdom of life, however, reveals a deeper understanding of the knowledge of it is in every moment of daily life.
Wisdom reveals that within a moment only a moment exists and a moment does not have two moments within it. Wisdom reveals that a moment in life was much before man was in the moment.
Wisdom reveals that man does not make the moment in life because the moment was in life much before man was in the moment. The moment was in life and accommodated vegetation and animals within it and later the moment accommodated man within it along with vegetation and animals.
Wisdom reveals that within a moment only one can exist within it and not many. Wisdom also reveals that the one which exists within the moment is manifested by the intelligence within the moment and not by man. This is because man does not make the moment in life.
Wisdom reveals that a moment in life is manifested by the intelligence in life. Wisdom reveals that how a moment is manifested by the intelligence in life is a mystery.
Wisdom reveals that it is what it is in any moment in daily life. Wisdom reveals that nothing beside what it is in any moment can be other than what it is in any moment in daily life.
The enlightened accept daily life as it is any moment and have rightly proclaimed that daily life is what it is and cannot be other than what it is in any moment, albeit illusory, and is not real.

Editor’s Note:
Man’s experience with whatever appears or happens in his daily life is his own, for it is subject to his preformed and conditioned emotional reactions or even his own rational and logical explanations. Within this framework the mind of man is unable to appreciate other points of view, still less the spontaneity of each moment. To understand that what it is in any moment, as declared by the wise, can neither be other than what it is and that man has no part in determining what it is, even though it is illusory, requires strength and trust. Man seeks to find himself in his journey in life through whatever means the intelligence of life gifts. Thus, should he happen to meet a wise man or woman on his way, he will be gifted with deep understanding. He may enjoy the freedom of accepting what it is in every moment that he is or she is alive.

German Translator‘s Note:
There is the here and now in the mind with time and name that man can experience, and there is the nameless here and timeless now that man can only live if an understanding happens to him or her that time and names exist as illusory thoughts and are what they are in every moment. The wisdom presented in this article by Dr. Shankar is a deeper understanding of all knowledge and allows humans to be contented with what is.
