Jealousy (1)
“Behaviour”
Jealousy either in man or woman is expressed in diverse emotionssuch as anger, resentment, inadequacy, helplessness or disgust. Jealousy itself is an emotion experienced by man and woman.
Jealousy is instigated by diverse issues as well, such as possession, achievement, talent, performance and ability. These issues are usually displayed either by action or by words and concluded in the moment as knowledge.
Wisdom in man and woman, however, expresses neither thediverse expression of jealousy nor jealousy of knowledge. What is this wisdom of jealousy is the question?
Man and woman with wisdom of life understand that every moment in life happens and man and woman do not make any moment in life. They also understand that what is within the moment is manifested by life and not by them. Man and woman with wisdom of life understand that what is within the moment cannot be other than what is in the moment. Man and woman with wisdom of life further understand that they will come to know what to do in the moment if they are meant to know. Man and woman with wisdom in life also understand that they will come to do what is meant to be done in any moment in life.
Man and woman with wisdom also understand that mind with knowledge merely believes that they do what they are meant to do, while wisdom reveals it is life that makes the doing, albeit illusory, happen. Man and woman with wisdom are grateful to life for the moment because they understand that every moment in life is gifted to them and that they do not make any moment in life.
Man and woman with wisdom are also grateful for what is gifted within any moment and do not expect anything other than what is in the moment. They flow with life every moment as life unfolds every moment.
Similarly, man and woman with wisdom of life understand that what is said in the moment cannot be other than what is said in the moment. Man and woman with wisdom of life further understand that they will come to say what they are meant to say. Man and woman with wisdom in life also understand that they will say what is meant to be said in any moment in life.
Man and woman with wisdom also understand that mind with knowledge merely believes that they say, while wisdom points that it is life that makes the saying, albeit illusory, and not man or woman.
Man and woman with wisdom are also grateful for what is said, albeit illusory, by life within any moment and do not expect life to say anything other than what is said through them in the moment. They flow with life every moment as life unfolds every moment.
Man and woman with wisdom understand that life is a singular movement and you cannot conclude anything in a singular movement. This is not only because every moment is moving, but there is only movement in every moment in life.
The enlightened merely flow with life every moment and realise that knowledge in the moment of jealousy is illusory, including jealousy.

Editor’s Note:
Human beings are disposed to establishing their own identity and personality in their lives. This becomes the vantage point, albeit illusory, from which those with knowledge come to experience and judge on a daily basis. Diverse emotions are thus triggered by issues that present themselves, as they do. Furthermore, the belief that man is the doer is fertile ground for the rise of jealousy. Man and woman with wisdom, however, declare that man is not the doer and that whatever happens is meant to happen. Realising this is the flow in every moment.

German Translator‘s Note:
Comparison is a basic function of the human mind and leads to mental satisfaction or even dissatisfaction. That everyone gets what he is destined to get, whether he wants it or not, is wisdom that is not easy for the mind to understand, because the conditioning that everyone should get what he deserves – because of his actions, his appearance or his mental faculties – is so strong. Yes, of course many get more than others through their deeds, outward appearances and mental gifts, but man is not the doer and he does not create his appearance and his mental abilities, all this happens, as it is meant to happen, through the intelligence in life. To trust the intelligence in life means to be contented without jealousy in every moment with everything one has or is. Therefore, wisdom about jealousy is the supreme good.
