Not knowing (3)
“What to think”
In daily life modern-day man and woman usually know what to think. There are moments in daily life, however, when man and woman do not know what to think. In such moments man and woman are not their usual self.
Man and woman with knowledge are worried and not calm when they do not know what to think. Man and woman are impatient and are desperate to think what they usually think and know what to think.
Man and woman know what to think only after something which they know has been said to them regarding issues relating to health, work, friendship, house chores, relationships, issues concerning children etc.
This signifies that man and woman do not know what to think in any issue in the moment unless the issue is said to them. They also do not know what to think unless something is done by others or themselves regarding any issue with certainty.
This is not the case with man and woman with wisdom of life. Man and woman with wisdom of life are calm, patient and trust life in every moment. What is this wisdom is the question? Wisdom is deep understanding of life, while knowledge is superficial understanding of life.
Man and woman with wisdom of life understand that every moment in life happens and man and woman do not make any moment in life. They also understand that what is within the moment is manifested by life and not by them.
Man and woman with wisdom of life understand that what is thought in the moment cannot be other than what is thought in the moment.
Man and woman with wisdom of life further understand that they will come to think what they are meant to think. Man and woman with wisdom in life also understand that they will think what is meant to be thought in any moment in life.
Man and woman with wisdom also understand that mind with knowledge merely believes that they think, while it is life that makes the thinking, albeit illusory, and not man or woman
Man and woman with wisdom are grateful to life for the moment, because they understand that every moment in life is gifted to them and that they do not make any moment in life.
Man and woman with wisdom are also grateful for what is thought, albeit illusory, by life within any moment and do not expect life to think anything other than what is thought through them in the moment. They flow with life every moment as life unfolds every moment.
The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that what is meant to be thought in life will be thought and no force on earth can stop it.

Editor’s Note:
‘Are we any the wiser?’ This is a quip often used in the English language to suggest that we are actually none the wiser as an outcome of an issue or event we may meet. Human beings rise from sleep or deep sleep each and every day of their lives. They may awaken naturally or unnaturally. Either way the processes of thinking, knowing, speaking and doing speed into action almost unnoticed, ceasing only at the return of sleep. Such is the illusion of each person’s life, gifted by life itself. Yet, it may happen that a man or woman is stirred from this repetitive cycle by wisdom flowing through the compassion of enlightened beings, as in these articles and elsewhere.
