Patience (6)

“Understanding”

Understand that, if you try to be patient, patience will not happen, because man is not the doer.  Man is impatient merely because he does not understand that what should happen in terms of gain, love, kindness, is there in the moment and is manifested by life.

Man is impatient because what should happen according to his terms, as determined by his mind, of gain, love, kindness, is not there. Patience happens when what happens in terms of gain, love, kindness in any moment by life is understood and accepted.

Nobody has experienced love as love. As long as your ego is there, love can never be there. The ego loves to control, so control will be there, insistence will be there and supremacy will be there. All in the name of love. Love and patience happenwhen everything is acceptedas it is.

In life we only want to hear what should be spoken or done. What should not be spoken or done in the moment is not accepted. It is rejected by the mind with thoughts. Such is the beauty of life.

We have a preconditioned, concluded concept of everything and, if what should be spoken is present, it will be invited. It will be invited merely because it makes the ego feel that it is right.

When understanding happens that what is meant to be done and what is meant to be spoken in a moment will happen and that the ego does not make it happen, patience with life will happen.

Man and woman get hurt when what should be spoken or done is not what they expect. Hurt experienced as hurt is by one who has no conditions for what should be spoken or done in the moment in life. Hurt, on the other hand, experienced by an ego, is merely a rationalisation of what should be spoken and what should not be spoken and what should be done and what should not be done in the moment.

Hurt, as it is, has compassion within it for the one who has no conditions of what should be spoken or done and what should not be spoken and what should not be done.

Man and woman with wisdom realise that what is spoken or done happens to man and woman and is not done either by man or woman. A wise man and woman with wisdom are hurt that the other believes that he has done, while it has happened to him or her.

A wise man and woman with wisdom are compassionate with the other because the other believes that he has done and spoken, while it has happened to him or her.

The enlightened are always compassionate with everyone.

Editor’s Note:
There is understanding and there is  non-understanding, each gifted by the intelligence of life. The gift of deep understanding dissolves the non-understanding. Such is the beauty of life and its mystery whereby man may come to realise hinself as he really is - if it happens to him or to her. Man cannot achieve this, for he is not the doer. Gratitude to the enlightened - the embodiment of compassion.
