Species

“Moving”

There are many species in nature. There are many species of vegetation in nature. There are many species in the animal kingdom in nature. The different species in nature are in every moment of life. Humans too are in every moment of life. This signifies that humans are part of nature and not separate from nature.

The species in vegetation grow as they are meant to grow and growing is equal to moving. The growing or moving of species in vegetation is not believed by humans that an action is done by vegetation.

The species of vegetable grain growing is a movement. The species of flower blossoming is a movement. The species of fruit ripening is a movement. The growing or moving of species of grains, blossoming of flowers and ripening of fruit is not believed by humans that an action is done by the species of vegetation.

Species in the animal kingdom hunt. Species of birds build nests on trees. Species of ducks build nests on water. Species of ants construct ant hills. Species of bees collectively build a hive. There is constant movement present in all this.

The hunting, building of nests, constructing an ant hill and building a hive by different species are believed by humans that hunting, building and constructing are actions done by species in the animal kingdom. The species in the animal kingdom, however, do not know that they do an action. The species of the animal kingdom live instinctively. This signifies that the moving in species of animal and in species of vegetation is natural instinct.

Only human beings believe that they do actions which are expected and do not do actions which are expected by other humans.

Brain scans reveal that decisions happen seven seconds before man decides. The scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences reveal that human decisions are made seconds before humans become aware of them. In the study, participants could freely decide if they wanted to press a button with their right hand or left hand. The only condition was that they had to remember when they made the decision to use either their right hand or left hand.

Using FMRI, researchers scanned the brains of the participants to find out if they could predict which hand the participants would use before participants were consciously aware of the decision. The results, by monitoring the micro patterns of activity in the front-polar cortex, were that the researchers could predict which hand the participant would choose seven seconds before the participant was aware of the decision. Wisdom reveals that this is proof that man neither decides nor predicts nor predetermines. Wisdom reveals that even the movement of the hand to press the button happens and the brain does not make the movement happen in the moment. Wisdom further reveals that the thought to do and the doing happen for understanding to happen that only moving is in every moment and that every moment is only moving. Also, for wise understanding to happen that moving in every moment is instinct and that instinct cannot be controlled by man or his brain.

To do and the doing happen for understanding to happen that an action is not an actuality in a moment. To do and the doing happen for understanding to happen that an action in any moment is illusory and not real. To do and the doing happen for understanding to happen that doing is not present, but only moving is present.
To do and the doing happen for understanding to happen that moving which is present is instinct.

The moving happens for understanding to happen that when the moving is accepted as actions, it is believed that humans do what they are expected to do. Wisdom reveals that action is not done in the moment by any species in the animal kingdom or vegetation in nature because life is only moving in the moment in nature. The same applies to humans.  Wisdom also reveals that the intelligence in life manifests the moving in species that exist in nature, including humans, and that humans do not make the moving in the moment happen. This is because vegetation, animals and humans do not make the moment in life.

The enlightened accept the species that exist in nature, including humans, as they are and do not expect them to do anything, because they understand that doing is not present, but only natural instinct is present in any moment in life. The enlightened proclaim that what is meant to happen, albeit illusory, will happen.

Sri Ramana Maharishi has declared that what is meant to happen, albeit illusory, will happen. Sri Adi Shankaracharya has declared that man is not the doer in Nirvanashadakam. Kenopanishad verse (1.3) declares that word and mind cannot access the Absolute One. Bhagwat Gita chapter 3 verse 27 declares that man is not the doer.

The enlightened understand that the moving is instinct in any moment and is manifested by the intelligence in life and is done neither by man nor by his brain. The enlightened have declared that life is a singular movement.

Editor’s Note:
The word ‘species’ implies that a close relationship is present between living objects, from man to vegetation, which have been gifted by the intelligence of life with similar characteristics and similar natures. Thus are the living drawn together as species, though at times in conflict.  Furthermore, each species has been endowed with the level of understanding and means for survival that are entirely consistent with their daily needs, albeit illusory. The enlightened are united in their declaration of the singularity of life: man is not the doer. His journey is towards realisation in the company of true sages. What a wonder is this journey.
