Take

“Take”

Man takes when something is given to him by another man or woman. Man takes what is given to him by another man or woman if he needs, wishes or wants to have it.

Man is reluctant to take from another man or woman whom he does not know though he wishes, wants or needs to have it, because of social etiquette. If the other who is not known insists or requests, man takes what is given to him.

When man takes for whatever the reason that makes him take, it convinces him that he is a doer, because he is able to take when he is asked to take by another man or woman.

Children, however, take whether they are asked or not asked by another child or adult. An adult with knowledge believes that children take when asked by an adult known to them or not known to them.

The wise with wisdom understand that the word ‘take’ is only sound that man makes, but appears as a word with meaning to the human mind. In every moment in life there is sound in nature and the sound in nature is precise in the moment.

The sound in nature, which is precise in the moment, cannot be another sound beside the sound which is in the moment. This implies that the sound which is in the moment cannot appear as a word beside the word that is present in the moment.

Man and woman are part of nature in every moment. This signifies to the wise that the sound made by man or woman in the moment is precise and cannot be another sound beside the sound which is in the moment,

It further signifies to the wise that the word heard by man or woman in the moment is precise and another word cannot be heard beside the word which is heard in the moment.

The wise also understand that within the moment in nature there is only a movement. It further signifies to the wise that since a moment is precise the movement that is in the moment cannot be another movement beside the movement which is in the moment.

The wise understand that the taking happens to them and that they do not make taking happen to them.

The enlightened understand that the intelligence in life within the moment precisely gives what is meant to be given. This appears to the intellect in the human mind that man or woman takes because of reason, logic and common sense.

The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that man or woman is not the doer.

Editor’s Note:
Any man or woman’s journey in life takes place within the moment. There is no detail of that journey that is not within the moment, whether we like it or not. Whatever the apparent nature or quality of any detail is nonetheless within the moment and cannot be other than what it is.  How do we come to terms with this understanding of the wise? We do not. It has been the condition for every human being to refer everything to mind, inevitably ‘my mind’. The words of the wise, however, as in this article and in all preceding articles, have an energy that gradually transforms this referral. Thus, understanding in wisdom evolves as it is meant to evolve.

German Translator’s Note:
Knowledge informs what and from whom one should take something or not. Wisdom, on the other hand, does not give advice on what to take and not to take. Whether the point is taken is not in the control of man. Wisdom is also accepted when it is destined to be accepted, as a gift of life, as everything we take. May the wisdom in this article be accepted by the reader!
Marcus Stegmaier, Germany.
