The Known (2)

“Unknown”

Man and woman are proud of everything that is known to them. They are convinced that the known is obtained by them by applying what they have known in the past.

Man and woman are also convinced that by applying the known they start to know more than they already do. The enlightened have, however, proclaimed that man is not the doer. This signifies that man and woman cannot apply the past to obtain the known.

So how could man and woman understand that they are not the doer to be able to get the known, which they do have? So what is the understanding as to where the known comes from, if not from the past is the question?

If understanding happened to man that precisely where he could have come from to be in this world, it would give a clue to understand from where the known comes to him?

Now primitive man neither had any past nor the known. So it is impossible for primitive man to get the known from his past, but primitive man nevertheless had the known. This signifies that the known evolved in primitive man from the unknown.

Next, the first primitive man and woman on earth could not have had primitive, human parents who gave birth to them, but nevertheless the first primitive man and woman existed on earth.

If the first primitive man and woman did not exist, neither would modern man and woman exist. This signifies that the first primitive man and woman evolved from the unknown.

Now, what is within a seed of vegetation, animal and human being is unknown, but nevertheless vegetation, animals and humans exist on earth. This signifies that vegetation, animals and humans have evolved from the unknown, which is within the seed.

Now from the unknown, which is within any seed, come the facts of the vegetation, animals and human beings, which are the known to man and woman. This signifies that both the known and man have come from the unknown.

Now, vegetation, animals and humans change and the change is known by humans. The change exists on earth because of that which does not change. Similarly, the known exists on earth because of the unknown.

Editor’s Note:
Familiarity with what is known is common amongst all of us. Familiarity with the unknown is, however, not. Human beings, therefore, have long been keenly interested in what he or she wishes to know. For example, what is the origin of life on earth? To this end, extensive studies have been carried out and learned theses published to determine the origin of all species of living things. The more adventurous among us are even engaged in planetary expeditions in the hope of finding answers. Man’s efforts are rewarded by the wisdom of enlightened beings that reveals, as in this article, that the evolution of all that exists on this earth depends on the unknown. The unknown is unknowable.
Julian Capper, UK.

German Translator’s Note:
The known defines and limits the world of man and woman alike. Nothing but the known is experienced, felt or thought. Therefore, the unknown seems to be a mystery to humanity. But the known is the true secret of everyday life, because man does not bring it about but it comes from the unknown. This revelation is given by the wise in this article.
Marcus Stegmaier, Germany.
