Triad (4)
“Activity, Senses, Touch”
The triad activity, senses and touch is in nature and a human is a part of nature and is in the moment where nature is. Nature also contains vegetation, animals and the weather in every moment.
This triad is present in humans. It is an expression of nature in life. The triad in humans is a personal journey that expresses in humans as nature. These are gifts of nature to humans.
One of the triad is activity and activity is present in vegetation and animals as well. Vegetation has many activities such as growth, bearing branches, leaves, flowers and fruits, which ripen and eventually become rotten,
Activity is present in animals as well. Animals express many activities such as growth, which includes growth of shape, size and colours. Activity that includes procreation, hunting, eating, sweating, urinating and defecation.
However, both vegetation and animals do not know that they do these activities nor claim that they do the activities. The activities are an expression of nature in them.
Only humans claim that they do many activities. Daily house-activity, which is many. Daily work-activity, which is many.
The activity sitting is an expression of nature in life. The sitting expresses in daily life as nature gifts to humans. The gift of sitting by nature may be similar or different. Sitting is nevertheless unique to each individual. The sitting cannot be other than what it is.
The activity walking is an expression of nature in life. The walking expresses in daily life as nature gifts to humans. The gift of walking by nature may be similar or different. Walking is nevertheless unique to each individual. The walking cannot be other than what it is.
The activity running is an expression of nature in life. The running expresses in daily life as nature gifts to humans. The gift of running by nature may be similar or different. Running is nevertheless unique to each individual. The running cannot be other than what it is.
The activity of humans is an expression of nature in life. The activity may be cooking, daily chores, lifting, moving, catching, cleaning, office work, teaching etc.
The gifts of activity by nature is unique to each individual. The gifts cannot be other than what the particular gift is to a particular individual. The movement of the activity may be slow or fast.
The activity in humans is an expression of nature in the moment. The activity is not done by humans. It is only believed by humans that humans do the activity.
Whatever the activity may be in the moment, it cannot be prevented by humans. If the activity doesnot happen, it does not mean it has been prevented. It did not happen - that is all.
No matter what the activity is in the moment, touch is present in the expressions of activity in life by nature. No-one can blame the activity. They are not done by humans. The activity is an expression of nature and nature cannot be blamed.
The enlightened live the expression of activity with touch in them and do not describe them. The enlightened are aware of the triad expressions of life and realise that they do not do the triad by themselves.
The enlightened are aware that the triad happens in every step of the journey in life by nature and not by humans.

Editor’s Note:
There is no lack of awareness in the human species of the contents of the triad revealed in this article. There is no presence of mental thoughts, however, in vegetation and the animal kingdom. Yet there is a presence of these activities in their natural behaviour. Awareness of the contents of the triad in man is regularly accompanied by comment and judgement, praise or criticism, In daily life, the presence of these activities is firmly attributed to man, often with severe consequences. The gift of understanding the journey in life that is presented here by the wise is incalculable and deeply appreciated.

German Translator‘s Note:
Although in each of his daily and nightly activities, whether awake, dreaming, or asleep, humans are in undeniable contact through touch with life as a whole, they feel themselves to be separate beings whose activities are within their power because of labels in the mind. The triad of "activity, senses, touch," which Dr. Shankar explains in detail here, requires closer examination in every situation of life lest one succumb to the deception of the numerous labels of activities that life bestows upon the human mind in an illusory manner. Deep understanding of the Triad means peace, freedom and love in the only moment in life, "Here and Now".
