What does Illusory mean?

“Not real”

To every man and woman with knowledge everything that exists in daily life is real and not illusory. But to every man and woman with wisdom everything that exists in daily life is illusory and not real.

So what does illusory mean to a man and to a woman with knowledge, is the question? And what does illusory mean to a man and to a woman with wisdom, is the question?

So what does real mean to a man and to a woman with knowledge, is the question? And what does real mean to a man and to a woman with wisdom, is the question?

To every man and woman with knowledge, illusory means that the physical actuality that is perceived by the five senses is real.

To a man and woman with wisdom, however, illusory means that it does exist as a physical actuality and the physical actuality changes every moment. Furthermore, that the change in physical actuality is minimal, which is not recognised by the mind.

Also, to a man and woman with wisdom, illusory means that the physical actuality recognised by the mind is temporary and not permanent.

To every man and woman with knowledge, real means that the physical actuality that is perceived by the five senses as real is permanent. To every man and woman with wisdom, real means that the physical actuality that is perceived by the five senses as real exists just for a moment.

The question is: why, to wisdom, does physical actuality change every moment? The answer is that the moment in which the physical actuality exists is not the same moment.

Wisdom reveals that everything sophisticates in daily life since life began. Wisdom reveals that life began in the moment and, for life to begin, life needed a moment to manifest itself.

Wisdom reveals that for life to begin the intelligence present in life manifested a moment for life to begin. Wisdom reveals that the moment in life manifested by the intelligence in life in the moment renews itself.

Wisdom reveals that after the moment was manifested, the intelligence in the moment manifested elements in the moment initially, which were air, water, heat, earth in time and space.

Wisdom reveals that the intelligence in the five elements in the moment renews itself and was expressed initially as vegetation and later as animals and, finally, as humans.

Wisdom reveals that the intelligence in life in the moment accommodated matter, vegetation, animals and human beings all together in the moment in life, which renews itself every moment.

Wisdom reveals that a moment in life has no numerical time-duration within it. This wisdom signifies that every inherent, physical actuality within the moment of renewal lasts just for a moment.

This wisdom signifies that the physical actuality present in any moment is not the same physical actuality present in the next moment in life. This wisdom signifies that the physical actuality in any moment in life is illusory and not real.

Therefore, illusory means that whatever exists in daily life changes and is not permanent.

The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that the world, man and mind is illusory and not real.

Editor’s Note:
Whatever exists and, by implication, has existed and is yet to exist in man’s known world is illusory: it is not real. This assertion, challenging to the mind, is being subjected to wisdom’s intense examination here by the intelligence in life. It is a unique gift to mankind from Dr Shankar.
