What is going on

“In life”

Every man and woman talk about what is going on in life in every moment of every day. What is going on in life is the truth to those who talk about what is going on in life.

What is going on in life as reported by every man and woman is accepted as truth by all who hear or receive it. This goes on every moment of everyday in the house, office or at any place where there is man and woman with knowledge.

To every man and woman with wisdom the approach to life is different from the approach to life by every man and woman with knowledge. The approach to life needs understanding.

The approach to life by those with knowledge are convinced that man and woman are the doers in life and thereby know what is going on in life. The approach to life by the wise is the understanding that man and woman are not the doers in life.

Knowledge convinces man and woman that they do in the moment in life and thereby know what is going on in every moment in daily life. Knowledge, however, does not inform that the moment has no duration of time needed for them to perform any action.

Wisdom, however, has the understanding that duration of time within any moment in life is not known by knowledge. The smallest unit of time with duration known to knowledge is one zepto second, which is one trillionth of a trillionth second and it is impossible to do any action within this period by man and woman by which they could know what is going on in life.

Wisdom realises that the moment in life does not have the numerical duration of time required to do or to know what is going on in life. Wisdom realises that what is possible in the moment in life is just a movement and not any action.

Wisdom understands that evolution evolves the movements in the time present in each moment. Wisdom understands that only movement is present in any moment in life and this much is known to wisdom. So what is going on in life is only movement of different types.

Wisdom understands that man and woman have only been moving since their birth, which is the truth. Wisdom understands that life has evolved knowledge with a belief that man and woman know what is going on in daily life because of the evolved belief, which is not the truth, that they do in the moment in daily life.

Editor’s Note:
‘There is no right path. There is no wrong path. Life is your path.’ Every man and every woman that is alive is on their path of life, a path that leads him or her to the realisation of who he or she really is, if it is meant to. Life has, in its compassion and generosity, gifted every man and every woman with a companion on this path – knowledge and wisdom. In the evolutionary process of life, there is knowledge and there is wisdom. In knowledge man is convinced by the belief that he or she is the doer and knows what is going on in life. In wisdom, he understands that he is not the doer, never has been, never will be.We are all endowed with a live, human birth.

German Translator‘s Note:
For knowledge, what is going on in life is conflict, strife, terror and war; but also harmony, community and love, albeit subject to conditions. What the media reports about the world is, for example, what terrorism is, and who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. For those who think they are on the "right side", terrorism is "fighting terrorism", practiced by the "wrong side", the others. For wisdom, what is going on in life is a singular harmonious movement in which there is no "right and wrong", no "us and them". In the name of "good" so much "evil" has been done, albeit illusory. This shows how relative and biased, how transient and illusory, the concepts of good and evil really are. The quality of the many kinds of movement of an individual, a group or a nation, which the mind reports as their actions and words, reflects their approach to life depending on whether it is knowledge alone or knowledge with wisdom which has happened to them so far. Dr. Shankar's article on what is really going on in life enables the reader, if it happens, to free himself from indoctrination and propaganda – or better put impersonally – from the conditioning of hypocritical morality as to what is "right" and "wrong". This is how harmony, community and love spontaneously emerge, independent of conditions.
