What is wisdom?

“Which is”

Firstly, wisdom is not the same as knowledge, because the meaning of any word in knowledge is not the same meaning in wisdom. The meaning of any word in knowledge has a superficial meaning for the word.

The meaning of any word in wisdom, however, has a deeper understanding of the meaning to its roots than knowledge has for the word. Secondly, wisdom can happen to anyone, including the one who is ignorant of knowledge.

Wisdom does not need any support from knowledge. Knowledge needs support of more knowledge. Therefore, more knowledge is a walking stick that supports knowledge. Knowledge is dependent on more knowledge for support.

Wisdom does not need a walking stick of more knowledge to support it. Wisdom stands by itself independently.

Wisdom is the understanding that a moment in life happens spontaneously, uncontrollably, unpredictably and precisely. Wisdom is the understanding that man does not make any moment in life.

Wisdom is the understanding that a letter, a word, a sentence in the moment in the mind is illusory. Furthermore, it happens spontaneously, uncontrollably, unpredictably and precisely as well. Wisdom is the understanding that man does not make any moment in the mind.

Wisdom is the understanding that every physical movement in life instinctively happens spontaneously, uncontrollably, unpredictably and precisely. Wisdom is the understanding that man neither makes instinct nor the physical movement in life.

Wisdom is the understanding that every instinctive, physical movement in life that happens spontaneously, uncontrollably, unpredictably and precisely is an illusion of light, because every atom in the physical movement is light.

Knowledge believes that not only the movement of the word in the mind is real, but also that the movement of the word in the mind makes the physical movement in life possible.

Wisdom, however, is the understanding that every instinctive, physical movement in life is followed by a mental movement of a word in the mind. Wisdom is the understanding that the word in the mind is not only illusory, but it also does not make the illusory, physical movement in life.

Wisdom is that which is; it is illusory and not real.

Editor’s Note:
The mind has fallen still. The words that are arising in the mind are reflecting gratitude of a unique kind for the understanding gifted in this article. May this understanding be shared with every living human being that you and I meet in daily life with the same generosity as it is being shared here by the enlightened.
Julian Capper, UK.

German Translator’s Note:
The answer to the question of this article “What is wisdom?” can be either wise or seemingly wise. In most cases, wisdom is not defined wisely: as knowledge of the older generation, special fluency in dealing with a specific area of knowledge, or the ability to give others intelligent advice for every imaginable life situation. But, like Dr. Shankar shows, wisdom has nothing to do with causality. Therefore, wisdom gives no advice. Wisdom can neither be given and nor created. It is only recognized by wisdom itself when, as here in this article by Dr. Shankar, shared.
Marcus Stegmaier, Germany.
