Without
“A choice”
Adult human beings are convinced that they have a choice in dealing with any issue in daily life. They are convinced that they cannot be forced into making any decisions regarding any issue in daily life.
Everything happens in life without a choice. The earth rotates on its axis without a choice. The sun and moon that appear to rise and set do so without a choice. The stars shine in the night sky without a choice.
Night and day alternate without a choice. Every moment in life happens by itself without a choice. The laws of gravity and motion happen by themselves without a choice.
The five seasons in nature happen by themselves without a choice. Fire and air move by themselves without a choice. Water flows by itself without a choice and does not flow without a choice.
Vegetation grows by itself without a choice when circumstances are favourable for growth. Flowers blossom by themselves without a choice. Fruits ripen by themselves without a choice.
Animals do not have a choice to do anything. They cannot exercise their right to choice. Only humans exercise their right to choice, because they believe they can make a choice and are entitled to it.
Wisdom reveals that humans have no choice and that what is meant to happen will only happen. Humans could have a choice if they were able to make the moment in life, because everything happens in the moment.
Everything that is meant to happen only happens because everything happens in the moment. Man does not make the moment in life. The moment in life is manifested by the intelligence in life.
The intelligence in life in the moment manifested vegetation and the animal kingdom in the moment, much before the intelligence in life manifested humans in the moment to accompany vegetation and the animal kingdom.
If man were able to make a moment in life, he would then have a choice to do anything in life. But, since man does not make any moment in life, he does not have a choice to do anything or be anything in life. What is within any moment cannot be other than what is in the moment.
Humans believe that they have a choice to be healthy or not to be healthy. They, however, do not understand that the intelligence in life in the moment keeps them healthy. The wise understand that humans have no choice to be healthy in life. The intelligence in life in the moment manifests health in the moment and humans cannot be sick in the same moment. The wise understand that we are never the same in every moment and our health changes to sickness if humans are meant to be sick. The wise understand that we have no choice in any issue in life. It only appears that we have a choice in every issue in life.
Therefore, the wise understand that humans have no choice whether to get sick or not to get sick. Humans do not wish to get sick, but they nevertheless get sick without a choice. They will not get sick if they were able to make the moment in life. The intelligence in life in the moment manifests sickness in the moment and humans cannot be healthy in the same moment. The wise understand we are never the same in every moment and our sickness will change to health if humans are meant to be healthy. The wise understand that we have no choice in any issue in life. It only appears that we have a choice in every issue in life.
The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that what is meant to happen in life will only happen and humans have no choice in what happens in life.

Editor’s Note:
An adult human being is one who has come of age and reached maturity. This coming of age may be marked by a special, family ceremony. The adult is now accorded the right to vote in elections and to choose a representative in government. Choice is a fundamental in daily life. The proclamation of the enlightened in this article, however, reveals that the instrument of choice is only an appearance of choice, gifted in the moment by the intelligence of life to man, but not an actuality exerted by man. Understanding this is the beginning of trust.
