“The human being only claims”

Anatomy and Physiology of every living species including human beings evolves spontaneously, uncontrollably and unpredictably in life. Therefore, the structure, form, shape, colour, functions, movements and behaviour are unique and different to each, meaning they may be similar but never identical. If they were identical every specie including human being’s structure, form, shape, colour, functions, movements and behaviour would be the same. The specie human being does nothing; to see, to hear, to smell, to taste, to touch, to think or to move. They all happen to a human being. They are the human being’s survival instincts and they happen spontaneously, uncontrollably, and unpredictably, just as the survival instincts happen to all species, spontaneously, uncontrollably, and unpredictably by the intelligence of life or God. The human being only claims that he can; see, hear, speak, think, move, smell, taste, touch and behave. The claim is false meaning illusory and not real.

 

“Absolute understanding reveals wisdom”

Neither relative nor absolute understanding is the absolute. Relative understanding reveals opinions, doubts, beliefs etc., while absolute understanding reveals wisdom.
Duality and the known exist only as thoughts. Without thoughts there is none, meaning duality and the known. Absolute understanding reveals what a thought actually is with complete reason and logic, whereas relative understanding does not know what a thought actually is.
Relative understanding makes man understand that he has to try, but does not explain what duality really is. Absolute understanding does explain what trying and duality is which makes man realise what life is. Relative understanding informs man how a computer works and how to get from a to b, whereas absolute understanding reveals how this all happen to man, as man is not the doer as the enlightened have proclaimed that man is not the doer.
If seeing the act of trying to understand the mind and being fully aware of it, and the mind does stop it, man will come to know about it, just as how man has come to know how to work a computer, or how to get from a to b. Duality will never end as long as there is life and man in it. Even to an enlightened man who is alive on earth, duality will exist, but to him the duality will be illusory and not real every moment of his life.

Dear Dr Shankar,
I have been pondering your response and I heard you say that the body is light and mind is sound or mixture of light and sound so it follows the body. I am seeing how this mixture of mind has been leading the show so to speak. I have understood the words and meanings are illusory but to the degree that we interpret what is in the mind or with mind is huge. In asking about delay and cause I am coming to see all is already and the delay of mind is superimposed over this. Would this be correct? Then I think is it just mind that evolves? If the forms are first then does anything happen there? I think I remember you saying the only thing that happens in life is an aging process. This would be the singular movement? If this is so, I am just seeing how a previous belief is being seen as inaccurate. That being all of creation is sound.... again thank you for your patience with my enquiry.

I really enjoyed the article ‘what does life mean?’ and found it immensely helpful. Your statement in the 4th paragraph “Any judgment or interpretation would then be for the event that has passed and not that which is alive and present” had a great impact on me. I so easily find myself falling immediately back into interpretation and judgment once events have passed and I can see where once this statement is deeply understood only then would it be possible to live life and, therefore, impossible to interpret much less judge. It is very exciting to me to read these articles and have something in particular jump out. It is like finding a piece of a puzzle and as it is put in place the emerging picture is seen with more clarity which of course results in less confusion and I notice I am both excited and relaxed.

We believe we have multiple meetings which happen in life. Could it be possible? Even a single meeting is an impossibility. What truth can man find in a world full of multiple actions? What is the definition of life? Life is nothing but a singular movement. It is relative. Only the wavelength of sound which has a particular wavelength gets transformed as words in our mind. That is the reason why there are no words and meanings in life, yet there are, meaning only in certain wavelengths of sound. That is why mind is illusory. The belief and conviction that there are multiple meetings in life is so strong. To find out whether anything is real or not, I am pondering over 'singular movement' over and over again and I just finished the chapter Speech in the book ‘What am I?, there is so much understanding shared in that book. ….to shop
