" Daily life is satsang"

Only life can manifest this flower.
Only life can manifest the flowering in man.

Article: Daily life ‘Satsang’

By Dr. Vijai S Shankar

Satsang literally means true company, because sat means truth and sang means company. Satsang also means a gathering for the truth. This implies that people gather together to know the truth from one who knows the truth. There have been many people who speak about the truth and there are many gatherings to listen to the truth spoken. But, no matter how many gather or how many speak the truth, man or woman is yet to know what true company is. What could be the true company regarding daily life that could be known and understood by anyone requires to be deeply understood.

Comment: Article Daily Life ‘Satsang’

Julian Capper, UK.
There have been and will continue to be many teachers, gurus, philosophers, priests and even scholars that have offered guidance and advice for those wishing to live happy and healthy lives. Mankind seeks and searches for answers to life-questions. In their deep understanding of daily life, the wise reveal here that the very moment in which the life happens for every person is true. It is as it is. Such is the blessing for mankind of each and every moment. Such is the release from the bondage of existence.

Marcus Stegmaier, Germany.
If a satsang is visited at a certain place, and one is listening to a certain person, a “special“ person, the conditioned mind believes that what is shared in a satsang is a matter of giving and taking. You go there, is the common belief, and you take the solution for all problems in daily life with you. But this is not the case. If what is shared in a satsang is not understood in daily life with all its big problems and tiny issues, man or woman will not be transformed by the satsang but confused even more. Therefore it is wise to read what Dr. Shankar shares here in this article, which is a true satsang: Understand life as it is in daily life and don’t run away from it. Understanding deeply is the only solution for illusory problems. Every issue or problem is illusory indeed, because life makes everything happen, albeit illusory, but it needs to be understood deeply. So daily life is the satsang man and woman search for in order to live life instead of thinking life.

Dear Harry Haan,
What you share with many is the greatest gift by life to humanity. The greatest gift to humanity is the flowering of wisdom, which leads to enlightenment.

Dear Dr. Shankar, I am so happy reading every word in the book ‘The Power of Illusion’ and the chapters I think are the ultimate education for mankind. With so much enthusiasm and care You share what is so difficult to share and it is a bewildering journey. This book rocks! With love and gratitude, namaste.

Dear Dr. Shankar,
Thank you for all the articles. The one titled ‘True Compassion’ in particular caught my attention at this time... The quote that is up on the website at this time is "Silence is the response in sleeping state". Would you please say more about that?  Thank you again.
Answer from Dr. Shankar
Dear Sonia,
The quote on the website reminds us that everyday true compassion is the response to anyone.

What a gift to listen, to read over and over again. Thank you for the treasure.

Namaste Dear Guruji!
Your article NAMASTE (besides many others this month) touched me deeply. In Bavaria we are used to greet 'Grüß Gott' - irrespective of the time of the day - which means as well that you greet God. Mostly one is unaware what he or she is speaking out loudly meeting another human being. Then it is just a traditional behaviour. To realise that God can come in any form is a shift from knowledge to wisdom. To understand that you always meet and greet a form of God is a phenomenal happening and a precious gift in life. Thank you for reminding me. My gratitude as well for all these wonderful articles and answers to the questions illuminating all the aspects and angles of the mind and daily life. They bring us indeed closer to life and it's blessings - enriching in a miraculous way!

Barbara, Munich
Thanks you for this very beautiful article ‘BEGIN’!

Beloved Guruji - and Happy Birthday! I had just a wonderful meeting with You. I watched and listened to the DVD 'Suffering', which is of course as brilliant as every other DVD, CD or article from You. Every one of them is throwing light on something to let us become clear about the illusoriness of everything, which appears in the mind. It is so beautiful listen to superb statements like that '...mind is a state of energy in the energy which makes up man' or  'That point where sound gets transformed into words, thoughts and meanings, that is the mind.' I still like it very, very much to listen to You. Thank You again and again. What an Intelligence behind and in everything. Much fun with all who will visit You tomorrow. I am with You too. your Andreas

Happy Birthday Dr. Shankar. We who read and listen to you are the ones who have received the gift. I am grateful everyday that your message found its way to me several years ago. As I continue to read and listen almost daily I have noticed the changes that have taken place in me over the years. It is like water poured over dry, hard, cement-like soil that takes a while for the water to penetrate. But once it does, all kinds of lovely things crop up and sprout and flourish. Deeper understanding doesn't remove the daily challenges of being human but it certainly does help to be less bothered by what I have not yet come to fully understand. Trusting life is much easier than resisting life in front of me. Watching it all come and go and transform in its endless movement shows there is no need, nor can I anyway, hang on to anything I like or dislike and therein lies a growing peace. May it be that life gifts you and all of us many more years of your wisdom. We are so fortunate to live in an era where your message is preserved and will always be there for us.With much appreciation, love and wishes for a wonderful celebration surrounded by those who love you and can be with you in person.
